Nope it's not possible to do this without messing with the games code. As equipped armor has a few specific addresses assigned to it which allows you to change what goes onto that slot, but you can't add one.

@NeruTatsuki, what my scretary said it's true u can't add a new slot to your armor
u need to be professional coder to do that, it would be interesting to dig around in the game core but, i haven't been on for many months now and not planning to either, college has gotten in my way since i'm 18 aswell i moved to another flat and i left my psp behind.
